About Us

The Delhi Public School, Bathinda Punjab was established in 2003 under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society. It is a senior secondary co-educational day-cum-boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The motto of the Delhi Public School Society is a vivid reflection of the mettle and dedication that goes into the making of a noble institution, with a noble mission. It is a constant reminder that the DPS spirit always accords greater priority to the welfare of others over the welfare of the self. Service towards an enlightened path has always been the bedrock of DPS philosophy; a philosophy that reflects a commitment to serve others willingly, graciously, and selflessly.

For more than six decades, the DPS Society has developed with a spirit and a vision. Today it stands as a citadel of learning and a harbinger of quality consciousness, committed to developing the minds and initiatives of children.

Innovation is fundamental to DPS learning programs and its faculty has endeavoured to revolutionize in terms of ideas and practices, to match the demands of twenty-first-century educational trends and global associations.

Our vision is to empower our students with values, knowledge, and skills to be successful in their career and life in a rapidly changing society.

The organizing team at Consortium '25 strongly believes in the core values of hard work, cooperation and as our school’s motto suggests – putting service before self. We believe that organizing an event such as this requires contribution from all ends, be it the advisors, the delegates or the team itself. While the advisors and the delegates show us the right path, it is our duty to walk on it. The team believes that the most important people at our conference are not the organizers, the advisors or the guests but the delegates. We want to send a message of gratitude through this letter to our delegates who have put their faith in us.

Model United Nations Conferences are a great way for students of our generation to hone their speaking, interpersonal, diplomatic and analytical skills. While for most parts, Consortium '25 will sharpen the research and professional skills of the participants, a bit of wit is always welcome. It is pretty amusing that about 40 thousand years ago, it is believed that the Homo-sapiens community decimated the entire Neanderthal population, while today, we believe in sorting out our differences over tables made out of willow. The very essence of debating and contemplating over our issues rather than going all out in war is captured by the United Nations. At The Consortium 2023, we will be doing the same, only that this time, students posing as delegates will be exchanging views on issues we have termed as ‘agendas’.

On that note, please do not forget that while The Consortium 2023 is an event of competitive nature, it is also an opportunity to learn, grow and make like minded friends. If you have any pressing concerns, please do not hesitate to dial the contact numbers of our Secretariat Representatives or simply, email us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Principal's Message

JK Saini

We currently live in a world that is riddled with international strife amongst nations. Wars and strife - whether overt or covert - divert the already scarce resources away from any nation's developmental goals into unproductive, wasteful channels with no fruitful outcome.

The need of the hour is to bring about the youth to a common forum, where the conflicts can be resolved through engagement, dialogue and mutual understanding.

Consortium '25 with its theme ‘Veritas Per Concordium - Truth Through Harmony’ is an idyllic opportunity for young delegates to converge on a common forum to amicably synergise their efforts and opinions, directing them resolutely to explore viable solutions for all the international, environmental and Human Rights violation issues that have plagued the world enfeebling its harmony, peace and much sought sense of fraternity.

We endeavor, through this conference, to establish a paradigm change in the spirit with which Model United Nations conferences are conducted, as well as provide the best of logistical support to delegates and dignitaries in order to facilitate a smooth and efficient two days of deliberations.

We sincerely solicit your unstinted support and cooperation for the grand success of the Consortium '25 Conference.

With Warm Regards

Coordinator's Message

“Don’t be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone else.”

It is with immense pride that I welcome you all to the eighth edition of Consortium '25, which aims at exploring endless possibilities and idyllic opportunities.

Through this endeavor, we wish to provide a platform to the students to divulge their opinions freely on the most pressing and crucial matters that are faced by the world. It allows the students to think innovatively, working as a team and coming up with viable and pragmatic solutions.

It is an unparalleled opportunity. I urge you all to give it your best and help make this conference a success as a lot of sweat, tears and efforts have gone into the preparation.

I hope you have a very fruitful debate and a memorable experience. I wish you all the very best.
